CASE STUDY-1
Analysis of performance of various configuration and protocols in LAN.
1.1 Establishing a Local Area Network (LAN):
In this we are going to establish a local area network between two or more computers using a switch or router in real time connect the three system in local area network using a switch and assign a ip address for each computer for system-1 we are assigning as 192.168.1.1 and for the system-2 we are assigning it as 19.168.1.2 and for the system-3 we are assigning it as 192.168.1.3 now we have configured the lan network using the switch. Now we are going to test the local area network whether the systems are connected for this we are using the ping command. Go to run type cmd and a command prompt will be opened now type ping 192.168.1.2 in the system-1 you will get the reply if you have correctly configured.
