Alagappa University karaikudi Admission Notification for 2015- 2016
Applications are invited for the admission to the following programmes offered in the university departments and constituent colleges of the academic year 2015-16.The Entrance Test will be conducted at KARAIKUDI only. Date of Interview/Group Discussion/Medical Test/Physical efficiency etc., if applicable will be intimated later.
Alagappa University was brought into existence by
a Special Act of the Government of Tamil Nadu in May 1985 with the
objective of fostering research, development and dissemination of knowledge in
various branches of learning. AlagappaUniversity is recognized by the
University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. The University has 18 Departments,
5 Centres and 2 Constituent Colleges on its campus. 28 Affiliated
Colleges located in the districts of Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram are
part of the University.

- Candidates applying for more than one programme will have to use separate application forms.
- Application form and Prospectus can be had from the Registrar, Alagappa University by sending a Demand
- Draft obtained from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY” payable at KARAIKUDI by post or in person.
- Application form can also be downloaded from the University website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in in which case, the cost of application form (for the amount mentioned against the Programme) should be sent by way of D.D. while submitting the filled-in application form.
- Name and Address of the applicant and the program applied for should be mentioned on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. Candidates appearing for the final year/ semester examination can also apply.
